Mit deiner Vermutung, dass natürliche Zahlen der Form 2^n nicht als Summe von mehreren aufeinanderfolgenden natürlichen Zahlen dargestellt werden können liegst du richtig. Der Beweis ist nicht sonderlich schwierig:
Jede Summe aufeinanderfolgender natürlicher Zahlen hat stets die Darstellung:
n+(n+1)+(n+2)+...+(n+d-1)
Somit ergibt sich der Wert der Summe als explizite Darstellung dieser arithmetischen Reihe:
S = n*d + (d-1)d/2
Nach der Hypothese müsste also:
2^k = n*d + (d-1)d/2 <==> 2^k+1 = d(2n+d-1)
Ist nun d eine gerade Zahl, so ist (2n+d-1) eine ungerade Zahl, und folglich d(2n+d-1) keine Zahl der Form 2^p, da eine Zahl der Form 2^p kein Produkt einer gerade und ungeraden Zahl sein kann. Ist d ungerade, so ist (2n+d-1) gerade und folglich d(2n+d-1) keine Zahl der Form 2^p.
Also lassen sich Zahlen der Form 2^n nicht als Summe von mehreren aufeinanderfolgenden natürlichen Zahlen darstellen.

Nunja, 0 ist ja trivial, da jedes n € N > 0. Zu den geraden Zahlen: Was ist z.B. mit 6 = 1 + 2 +3? Wie du richtig erkannt hast darf die Summe aus beliebig endlich vielen Summanden bestehen.

Mit Strahlensatz und Pythagoras kommt man auf
x^4+2x^3-98x^2+2x+1 = 0, wobei x die Entfernung des Punktes, an dem die Leiter den Boden berüht, zum Würfel ist.
Mittels Näherungverfahren ergibt sich:
x1 = 8,937 x2 = 0,112 x3 = -0,090 x4 = -10,959, x3 und x4 sind <0 somit ergeben sich die Lösungen h1 = 1,112m und h2 = 9,937m.

Also alles löschen - so ein Programm kenne ich nicht, aber mit "Drive Crypt Plus" kannst du deine komplette Platte 256-bit AES verschlüsseln. Die Daten werden dann nach erfolgreicher "Pre-Boot-Authentication" entschlüsselt. D.h. die Bullen können nix mit deinem Rechner anfangen. Durch formatieren werden Daten außerdem nicht sicher gelöscht und man bräuchte das PW gar nicht (man bootet einfach von einer anderen Platte...). Davon abgesehen ließe sich so ein Tool sicherlich mit ASM realisieren, wahrscheinlich sogar ohne riesigen Aufwand (Fürs Formatieren gibt es ja Interrupts).

Ich wollte in ein C Programm eine Funktion zum Herunterfahren des PC einbauen und hierfür die API ExitWindowsEx(UINT uFlags, DWORD dwReason) verwenden. Allerdings zeigt diese überhaupt keine Wirkung. Hier ein Source-Ausschnitt:

Weder 9x/ME noch 2000/XP zeigt sich beeindruckt. Bei 9x erscheint eine Warnung Windows würde heruntergefahren und alle Dokumente sollten gespeichert werden, allerdings geschieht nichts. Bei 2000/XP klappt nur Logoff (mit uFlags 0x00).
